As I sit and wait for the smiley face on my OPK my mind is forever running. I’m tying not to stress out. I’m trying to allow myself to ease into this new world of ultrasounds and blood work.
I keep having dreams about babies — however last night I dreamed about a project at work going horribly wrong.
I have no idea what to do to clear my mind.
I can’t really see you meditating, but how bout massage, (cranio-sacral work), and/or acupuncture. I’m trying to remember if I have an acupuncturist in that town, lemme think. But if you know of one, have them check and work on your adrenals.
Exercise, in general, is a good stress reliever, too. So’s yoga.
I’m just waiting for the start of my cycle (still a week and a half away or so) and I’m already antsy! If you find any fantastic ways to clear your mind, share with me!
The waiting game stinks. Hoping you get that smiley face followed by a BFP SOON!
That was the hardest part. Also, the baby/pregnancy dreams are horrible… I could never get them to go.
It helped me a little to focus on getting outside, taking walks, and doing activities that would naturally block out some of that thinking (although at other times, peaceful walks led to MORE thinking). Good luck on your waiting.
